Benchmark Construction Project Portfolio

As Construction Management advisors for Washburn School, Benchmark oversaw construction of two separate additions and renovation of the existing buildings. This work included expand of classroom space, system upgrades and replacement for heating, air quality, and sprinklers, ADA compliance, and new finishes for floors, walls, and ceilings.

Benchmark worked closely with the client and Stephen Blatt Architects to ensure that construction was completed before school opened in September 2001. Construction on the Washburn School began in March 2001.

Benchmark prepared the scope of work for bid documents, solicited and reviewed bids, and made recommendations for trade contractors. The entire project was completed one month ahead of schedule and within the estimated construction budget of $2,200,000.
